Star Wars
Greetings,
Star Wars. Two words that have defined nearly all die hard film fans lives for as long as we can remember. I still remember the first time I watched the original, and truly the only one that matters, trilogy when I was a kid and that feeling of awe and not being able to leave my seat. It is truly amazing that even now, almost 40 years later, people are still introducing their children to these incredible films and seeing the same reaction on their faces as our parents saw on ours. I have been working on, as of late a run through all that is the new Star Wars' canon through a great timeline on Wookiepedia:

If you have any interest in reading the books or comics or watching any of the TV shows this is truly the best representation of a timeline of all that is canon. I have made it all the way through and it was an incredible run. I can not wait for the new material to come out starting with the Aftermath book and the Shattered Empire comic book series so we know a little bit more about what happened after the rebels destroyed the 2nd Death Star and Darth Sidious/Palpatine and Darth Vader have passed on along with the base of the new Empire. More info to come on them after I have had a chance to read them. I figured I would start my first real post with Star Wars as it was what made me truly fall in love with movies, which is what this blog is mainly going to be about. So with that I want to post a link to the new Star War's Instagram account 15 second trailer for those of you who haven't seen it, which I'm sure isn't a lot of you, https://instagram.com/p/65PhxOs_RH/?taken-by=starwars. Wow!! Right?? That was my first reaction. Most of this is stuff we have already seen before including the voice over by the amazing Andy Serkis, playing Supreme Leader Snoke "Plagueis?", but there is the awesome new shot of John Boyega, Finn, with his lightsaber in what looks to be an epic battle in the snow against Adam Driver, Kylo Ren. So not only will Boyega be in possession of a lightsaber but we will be seeing him put it into action against what seems to be the new Vader of this new trilogy. What are your guys' thoughts on first Star Wars in general and how it affected your love of movies, and secondly your thoughts about the new tease clip and what it all means?
Thanks for reading and may the force be with you,
Steven
