Captain America: Civil War Review

Superheroes fighting each other? That makes no sense right? I've heard this from a couple of people going into seeing this movie and I myself have wondered how they could make all of these heroes who are friends in so many movies before go at it in a way that was believable. Well they did it, and did it masterfully. I will not spoil any of the movie but all I will say is that the Russo brothers, who directed this film and Winter Soldier, have such an eye for these Marvel movies that I am so pumped for all the rest. They bring together the core group we have loved over the past 12 films and also found perfect ways to introduce Ant-Man fresh off his first solo film, Spiderman who is now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time, and Black Panther for the first time on the screen and they play these characters perfectly. It's still to early to call but I have a feeling this will be the best Spiderman we have ever seen and I'm so excited for the Black Panther standalone film now more than ever. The villian in this movie, albeit unnecessary, was one of the best villains in the MCU, which of course isn't saying to much as they've only really had 2 or 3 that people even remember, but his story was more believable and you could even feel sorry for him at some points in the movie. Overall this may just be one of my favorite Marvel movies around. I will put out my full rankings in another post but for now I score this movie a 9.5/10.
Once you see the movie I look forward to hearing how you either agree or disagree with my thoughts. Let me know. Thanks again for reading. Until next time....
